Re: Angle Trisection

I read recently that it is impossible to trisect an angle with only a
straight edge and a compass. I gave it a crack, so if anyone has some
free time and is bored feel free to give it a look. I am no
mathematician so I am totally open to the possibility that it is
horribly flawed, but I needed something to feed my insomnia.

As far as I can see, all you have demonstrated is that you have failed
to trisect an angle of 45 degrees. My advice: give up, and study the
impossibility proof instead.
