Hi I was wondering if any could help with a problem i have. I am trying
to generate sequential MOD 10 numbers based on the check digit.
Here is the situation:
I am starting a sequence using a MOD 10 check digit = 1 (therefore I
know the last number used)
The string of numbers are 16 digits long.
The first 6 digits are constant.
So if the last number was 5402150000001061, then what is the next
number in sequence where the check digit will again be '1'?
Is there a formula to do this regardless of the check digit?
I think we need to know how you compute the check digit.
