Indian Film on Ramanujan being made.

The wonder about Ramanujan never fades. In today's paper:

"Squaring the Circle" by Geetha Doctor and "Wasted Genius" in Shashi
Tharoor's Column. Two articles appearing in Hindu, April 23 2006,
Magazine Section pp 1 and 3 respectively.

In the latter article it is suggested that the task of proofs for so
many of Ramanujan's intuitive results like those demanded by Hardy
proved too much for Ramanujan and may have lead to his breakdown..
(Oxygen needed for brain taken away from lungs? Reminds one of
hyperbaric oxygen therapy !).

Also there is a quote attributed to Ramanujan : "An equation has no
meaning unless it expresses a thought of God"... A mathematical
equality is a statement of truth, and God is Truth. In that belief
itself there is a compelling motivation and inspiration for science in
general and mathematics in particular.
