What's a C-Bifurcation?

I've been studying Internet sources on introductory bifurcation theory, and
I've come across this phrase, but I can't find any sites that explain what
it means, either mathematically or graphically.
The entry level bifurcation, from Feigenbaum's logistic map, (the flip or
period doubling bifurcation) looks graphically somewhat like the letter
'c.' Is that what a c-bifurcation is, or am I on the wrong track? If
anyone can refer me to a web site describing this construct, I'd be very
grateful.
TIA.
