I'm curious to know if there have been reports of people who can solve Sudoku puzzles very quickly, just by looking at them for a while. It seems to be the kind of problem that some idiot savants may be wired for. Also the statistics of solution time on this site http://www.websudoku.com show some amazing short solution times.
