Thanks for the replies, ladies and gentlemen. After this discussion I
know which way to go to get those files trimmed to their accurate KB
instead of MB. One of the files was actually only 1.2 KB but the Apple
computer saved in html became 5.8 MB and took me half hour just to
open.
I am going to convert those files to just plain text; and forego html.
Lesson learned: never upgrade all computers but leave one in the old
mode.
I find it often the case that when I discuss with others a problem,
that the resolution appears quicker then if I just kept it to myself.
