Re: JSH: That's why insults are used

[David Moran, to JSH]
You've got it completely wrong. Insults are used because you use them
first. I've yet to see one post from you without any social crap. Is that
because you don't know what you're talking about and that social crap
distracts from that fact? I think it is.

I think it's half right: his "social crap" generates a lot of replies
(like, in this case, yours ;-)), and I expect that boosts his jollies from
ego-surfing later (umm, objectively proves that his research has major
impact).

If you really knew what you were doing, you'd cut the crap about the
conspiracy theories.

Isn't it amazing that needs to be said? Sometimes it's interesting to
consider that, outside of math (which he obviously knows little about),
perhaps he actually does get the results he's seeking. After all, he's made
at least hundreds (perhaps thousands) of these crazy-rant posts before, over
years, and the reactions don't change much to my eyes.

The stuff you're experiencing now is the same thing that would happen if I
went to sci.physics and started ranting about how there was no such thing
as gravity.

The /technical/ content of responses would of the same ilk, but James is
better at "generating publicity" than you (or I) would be. There's often
the stench of calculated manipulation radiating from James's rhetorical
tactics.
