The question is: how many balls are there in the vase at noon.
This question is meaningless, because noon is never reached.
Really? When's lunch, then?

Lunch doesn't exist. It's a wrong-headed attempt to extend what we know
of actual eating to something that doesn't exist in reality. In fact,
the whole concept of "meals" is ludicrous. You can approach a meal by
individual bites, or even snacks, but you never eat an actual meal.
