think they would have a handle on how long they expect it to take.
Unfortunately they don't, or at least didn't.
They also in the past had the arrogance to wildly
contradict someone who did have a good handle on the
maths, and made a fairly believable estimation based
on a Poisson model. They retracted and apologised,
fortunately. However, I've not seen any re-calculation
of expected times since there were 17 candidates left.
