Don't be silly. He's entertaining as hell. The past few weeks he's not
as much fun as he used to be, as he seems to be very angry and a little
crazy; but over the years, he's provided a lot of entertainment around
here.
And truth be known, he has actually educated people too. The algebraic
integers usually get a footnote or an exercise, if that, in the standard
undergrad and even graduate algebra class. JSH turned on a lot of people
to this fascinating set.
I'm for free speech; and so are most others around here. You don't like
JSH? Great. Don't read his posts.
Agreed. My vote is for free speech.
I think we should tie up the little mathless tar baby, and cook him on a
split over a nice hot fire.
Cook the little crackpot, troll, skin him, and feed him to his Sarra'sGoat
Factoring Algorithm and save the Stockmarket, and the CIA, and the Israelis.
Hopefully James will take a look at the Harris Integral and do some work
on
it. Nobody else seems to care. I think it's valid physics with some very
neat motivations from mathematical considerations.
Science, and more generally human knowledge has something in common with
most religions, it welcomes people who have strayed. There is no reason
why
even james could not win the Nobel if he actually did something of
signifigance. The world of truth would forgive him for his past
nonsensical
transgressions. And perhaps that's the best thing, even Newton did some
pretty silly alchemical things.
