this matrix is linearly dependent:
2 -1 1
1 0 1
3 -1 2
but why?
because 2 is divisible by 1?
or because 2 + (-1) = 1?
The rows are linearly dependent because the first row plus the second
row equals the third row. The columns are linearly dependent because the
first column plus the second column equals the third column.
