Oops, that is wrong. It should be "For all R, if R is a well ordering
of S, then S is never similar to one of its R-segments". And I think
that is more in accord with your own point anyway.

Oh boy, I'm having bit of a hard time I see. Above is STILL not
correct.

It should be:

For all R, if R is a well ordering of S, then <S R> is never similar to
an initial segment of <S R>.

Lack of similarity pertains to the structure <S R> and an initial
segment of <S R> not to a comparision between S and an inital R-segment
of S, since S is not necessarily a sequence that has segments.
