Do you know what a convergent series is?

9/10 + 9/100 + 9/1000 + onto infinite sequence of terms = 1. Or put differently the limit of the sums over the first n terms converges to 1 as n approaches infinity.

If I had a thin dime for every time this question has been asked I would be rich.

Is their something in the air or water. When I was a kid everyone (including me) knew what a convergent series was.
