Is it impossible? Hmmm......
You can determine the x axis aprox., althought no its sense, by the
asimptotic direction of the graph. Then, take to points at tha x axis one
unit alone one from the other, and take its ordinates. That would be
y1 = m^x, y2 = m^(x+/-1)
Then y2/y1= m^(+/-1)
So you can determine m or 1/m , depending on the sense of tha x-axis.
