Re: relative error for 'zero' input



Well, i'd like very much to get the relative error. But having infinite relative error doesn't say about the error anything at all. Thus if it is not possible to express the error relatively, i'll have to use the absolute one.
I think that any attempt to calculate relative error finishes with infinity for zero 'absolute' value.



That's certainly one thing that you could do. But I was under the
impression that you wanted the _relative_ error instead, which is infinite.
