Rational Functions
Hello,
the following result is very evident:
There are no complex polynomials P(X,Y,Z), Q(X,Y,Z)
such that the following identity between functions hold
X=P(X^2,Y^2,X/Y)/Q(X^2,Y^2,X/Y).
Can you find a simple proof (without too many
calculations)?
