Does anyone know
3 events A,B,C such that
1) P(A inter B inter C)=P(A)P(B)P(C)
2) P(A inter B)=/= P(A)P(B)
or P(A inter C)=/= P(A)P(C)
or P(B inter C)=/= P(B)P(C)
3) A,B,C are not empty or not all possible outcomes
Sounds like a nice homework problem, but here goes.
Consider a fair tetrahedral die with faces marked 2, 3, 5, 30.
Roll the die and define events A, B, C, respectively as the
number on the face on the bottom is a multiple of 2, 3, 5.
