Can one cut a point into two?
PS How many angles share a common point? How many vertices can be
accomodated in one point?
A pole is a point of singularity when there are indefinitely many
lines that go through it,so its tangent vector is indeterminate. For
example at the north pole of the globe every meridian crowds up
there,it stands at the common apex of infinitely many triangles.A
junction point belongs to all lines through it,that is to say belongs
particularly to none.
Also Hilbert had defined points, lines etc.
