c'mon try this problem:
(m,n)E Z+(+ve integers) x^2-mx+n=0 has real roots u,v. prove that u,v
are integers if and only if [mu]+[mv] = k^2, k E Z+ ("E" means
belongs to)
[x] represents integral function of x not exceeding it
its a good Q, try it out. i want diff solns, i have 2 ways, the
more
the better
.
