I'm just about finalizing the proofs of my
forthcoming book on Gödel's
Theorems for CUP -- some details here:
www.godelbook.net
Some people here might be interested in the very
short guide to
Further Reading at the end of it, which you can find
at:
http://www.phil.cam.ac.uk/teaching_staff/Smith/godelb
ook/FurtherReading.pdf
Though I confess that in posting this link I'm not
being entirely
altruistic! If anyone has some good suggestions
about additional
books I really ought to mention, I'll be very happy
to have my memory
jogged! ;-))
I don't think you would have overlooked Nagel & Newman,
but curious to know why you didn't include it.
And while recalling classics, I should think that anyone
who enjoys the subject and hasn't read Hofstadter yet
would appreciate that reference. (Timely, too, I
believe, since he just published a new book.)
I am certainly going to order a copy of your book,
though I do hope it finds a younger audience as well.
Congratulations and good luck!
Tom
