I currently have a data set with 4 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. What I want to determine is the % contribution each independent variable has to the overall dependent variable. Previously, I had been creating a multiple regression model and substituting average values to determine % contributions. I know this is inaccurate, so is there anything else I can do?
Have you looked at Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)?
