but must be linked through the Brinkster Member's site.
The paper describes limitations of decimal notation, lacks
in the most common algebraic proof, and why real numbers cannot allow
0.999... to equal one.
If you cannot access it and are interested, e-mail me directly and I
will forward you a copy directly. I welcome any feedback. I believe
that mathematical topics should be expressable to others, and have
never felt my reservations about the strict equality were addressed.
