some things are very true...
although its been a while since ive seen a
of RH ...( unfortunately or luckily ? )
if your looking for someone who posts things that
actually have a meaning sometimes.
and it isnt a quick question before an exam.
or some philosofy about 0.9999...
someone who comes up with an original idea or
challange.
look at my posts then.
and forgive my arrogance.
Where is it Tommy
Could you provide a link please
B.Karzeddin
just click at my name and look at the posts.
if i started the topic its usually what your looking for...
thing here is , you only get replies if things can be answered easily or belong too "book stuff".
for easy questions , students and crankpots you will see reactions occur rapidly.
im not calling everybody a student or crankpot
but most topic started are nothing special.
and the ones who should be capable of posting good topics
apparently refuse to do so...
they feel better giving answers to others than asking questions themselves.
are they "protecting their knowledge" ?
or is it just better for ego if you answer, instead of asking questions yourself , indepentent of your level of math skill ?
but when i ask a hard question , i dont get many replies.
plz dont tell me the questions are superhard or superevident.
im not a moron and im not a genuis.
but the questions are not evident and NOT IN A BOOK.
and some ideas are controversial.
therefore i dont get many replies.
apart from helping students, crankpots posts and personal attacks on people nothing much happens here :-(
occasionaly someone mentiones physics or computers , and amazingly it gets more attention than pure math !!
the sillier the idea , the more replies.
therefore id rather see it as a compliment i dont get much replies.
although it remains dissapointing ...
why do people always think there better than others ?
why are people never openminded ?
despite the large amount of crankpots here, if there is going to be an original math idea ( generated outside a university ) on the web (therefore the entire nonacademic world !!!! since mags refer to universities in general )
it has to be in a forum like this not ?
i share my ideas with the world
they can be STOLEN just bye looking on the internet.
yet i get almost nothing IN RETURN.
the ideas will probably get stolen (therefore i dont go too deep into it before i get a good reaction )
now or in the near future.
and i dont even get decent reply in general.
feels like im robbed.
good thing i didnt share all.
but a very bad situation for society.
and very unstimulating to see every good idea dissapear to dust compared to the attention too
for example to 0.999999 or JSH personality
are there "better forums " on the net for math ?
