Hi,

Could you remember me the theorem for which every compact n-
dimensional metric space admits an embedding in an euclidean space of
dimension 2n+1, please?

More precisely, where do I can find such a theorem complete with a
proof?

You can find there the proof of the Menger embedding theorem and
universal space theorem, many historical and bibliographical notes.
