You can prove that the set of natural numbers is potentially infinite,
as you did. But that is not a completed or actual set in the sense of
set theory. You cannot prove the existence of an actually infinite set
(without the axiom) ---simply because it is nonsense and does not
exist in mathematics or elesewhere. (Everything of true mathematics
can be proved without any axiom.)
