Why are there so many solution manuals being advertised and asked for?
I know that it's the beginning of the fall semester, but it wasn't
this bad this time last year, or any other previous year.
Did something happen, like a message in the newsgroup
alt.how.to.cheat.at.math, which said that you could ask for them?
Student cheats who spend moore time trying to cheat than it would
take to work the problems!
Yes, and some students work more on figuring out the minimum they need
on the Final to get a certain grade, than on the material itself.
I give "current grades" as we move through the semester, and I'm
tempted to say that if a student doesn't know how to figure out the
minimum score on the Final, they shouldn't pass Calculus. Or algebra,
for that matter.
