It's creative, however there are a few problems with
this approach.
[1] If one has 1 apple, 1 pear, and 1 orange, and
adds
them together, one has 1 apple, 1 pear, and 1
nd 1 orange.
There are additional projection operators that
that might
be applied; some of them may be Abelian (e.g., if

apple weighs 1/2 kg, a pear 1/3 kg, and an orange
ange 2/5
kg, the total sum of the fruit weights is equal

the weight of the fruit sum, e.g., 37/30 or 1.233

[2] The sum "1 apple + 1 pear + 1 orange" does indeed
lead to 3 fruits,
but does "2 apples + 2 pear + 2 oranges" lead to

or 6 fruit instances? Also, if one adds
(1a+2p+3o) + (2a+3p+4o) = (3a+5p+7o)
one gets 15 fruit instances. However, one can

grapes or blueberries to this mess and get some
interesting results, as both are much smaller

In short, "15 fruits" doesn't quite convey enough
information to establish the measurements one
one wants.
[3] Technically, a strawberry has a lot of fruits --
one per seed buried in the flesh thereof. I

[4] In the physics realm, one at least has the luxury
of standard
defined units. One can add, for instance,
1 inch + 1 yard + 2 feet
by converting to a common unit, either inches:
1 inch + 36 inches + 24 inches = 61 inches
or to meters:
0.0254 m + 0.9144 m + 0.6096 m = 1,5494 m
Of course, they do have to be common; adding
ding lumens and
candela, for instance, doesn't quite work. (A
(A lumen
is the luminous flux emitted in a unit solid

a point source with one candel intensity.) Ditto

I am thinking about your post.
I am considering your idea that Fruit or C does not possess enough information or the right kind of informaton.
And whether this problem interferes with my basic premise that any expression (mathematical, physical, existential) of expressions gives a unique expression with a quantitative component. And that this can be used to model new AND previously identified, mathematical, physical and existential systems. Which might be useful in itself.
A Big Tropical Storm is headed toward Guaymas, Mexico and will hit in some intensity by Wednesday. I hope to reply better by then. I am currently visiting Guaymas.
I think I many post this now anyway.I hope this is ok with the Math. Forum moderators.
