Ineed help with several problems The first is Aaron bowls on his
schools bowling team. Based on staistic frm the past games, the
probabiliy of aaron knocking down all ten pins on his first ball { a
strike) IS 2/5. If he does not get a strike the probanility that he
will knock down the remaining pins with second ball ( a spare)IS 3/4.
a. In bowling a turkey is three strikes in a row.If Aaron bowls
three turns what is the probablity that he will get a turkey?.How do i
figure this out?
probability of strike with first ball = ?
probability of strike with second ball = ?
probability of strike with third ball = ?
what do you do with these three numbers to get the answer?
B. Aaron has 8 chances to make spares in one of his games. How many
spares would you expect him to have made?
Thanks

So, what have you done so far?
Have you done computations in terms of "random variables"?
Or maybe have you done binomial distributions?
