Or in particular for Ioannis, Johan, John etc: install Hebrew and
enter "Johanan", in Hebrew of course.
I first heard the correct pronunciation of (the Hebrew) Yochanan/Johanan (the
precursor to John) in the movie The Passion of the Christ, when Jesus referenced
John the Evangelist. The dialogues in the film were in Aramaic.
Now I am wondering if there is an English adjective which describes the
equivalence class of all people with the same name. In Greek it is
"syn-honomatos" (syn-onoma=same-name), but I don't think this can be literally
translated to English usage.
The closest would probably be "homonymous", but this is reserved for fractions
