K(G,1)s for Semi-Direct Products

Hello, all!

I originally posted this to sci.math.research (I thought), but it hasn't
shown up and I haven't gotten a rejection email, so I am posting here.

It is well-known that if G is (isomorphic to) the direct product of two
groups G1 and G2, then a K(G,1) is given by K(G1,1) x K(G2,1).

Are any results known if G is the semi-direct product of two groups G1
and G2 (with known K(G1,1) and K(G2,1))?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Sincerely,
