No, it is not ! it is a /usenet/ group that Google tries to usurp.
Google doesn't make any difference with superseded messages.
I discarded my first post as I realized I wrote that.
Any true news server doesn't show the superseded message but the
new one instead...
And now all over the world there will be answers to a message
that doesn't exist anymore (the superseded message).
I don't post against you, I just post against Google :
no correct handling of superseded
no correct handling of threads
no correct handling of signatures and quoting
allows for so much spam as the finding/following of a thread is
nearly impossible
etc...
Only disadvantages versus a true news server.
