Why the rush? Many regulars, exactly the people you need to convert, will
simply be peeved by your notices and replies consisting only of telling the
poster to start the subject with a "-- ".

Let the momentum build naturally and see if the idea gets off the ground.
Trying to force a pet scheme of a handful of posters on a whole newsgroups
is not really a good idea.

Making everybody post with the -- Mark of Quasi -- isn't censorship.
It's worse than that, it's totalitarianism.
