No surprise here: intellectual freedom (and honesty) are anathema
to Bruijn.

The word "discipline" alone implies that there must
be something disciplinary about its axioms. Meaning that these axioms
can not fall out of the Big Blue Sky. Meaning that there must be some
source _outside_ mathematics that provides the axioms/its principles.

Once the axioms have been established, mathematics can proceed as an
independent discpline, but not earlier. A well known source of axioms
is physics.

And here it is: no different to cranks like Muckenheim. The
political agenda is the same: mathematicians must be the slaves
of physicists in Bruijn's world. Fortunately Bruijn's fantasies
of domination are destined to remain precisely that.

You're _messing up_ threads in the first place. But yes, Muckenheim has
an agenda which is similar to mine. If you feel discipline like slavery,
that's fine with me. Keep up the dreaming and be irrelevant, as much as
you like.
