Unrestricted freedom in the choice of its axioms? Since the vast
majority of mathematicians in practice works within ZF(C), that hardly
counts as "unrestricted freedom". And, please, do not harp about the
nonsensical in mathematics, since you have been unable to show a
*single* example of contradiction.

It's so full of contradictions that I can't even start to mention them.
But ah!! You call these contradictions: "counter intuitive results" ..

A /contradiction/ in mathematics, as in logic, is a situation in which
both a statement and its negation must be held true.

HbD has yet to find any such situation n in any of the set theories
which he has so often criticized.

Therefore HdB's claiming to have found even one is a falsehood.

Read the posters by Wolfgang Mueckenheim, and you will find plenty of
examples. His results are often _contradictory_ to standard outcomes.
But ah, now you will say that his findings are simply wrong, huh? Yet,
as far as *I* can see, WM is employing _legal_ mathematical machinery.

The key phrase there is "as far as I can see". WM's
posts are full of blatant elementary errors and
most emphatically NOT using legal mathematical
machinery. He's just able to wave his hands enough
to confuse someone who hasn't been through a
couple of rigorous undergraduate courses.

Sure. As expected. What else, huh .. ?
