It wasn't a problem until a few days ago. Before then, I recall
seeing only perhaps 10% of the messages as spam. Lately,
though, it's ballooned to above 95%.
And, yes, I am considering another alternative to Google Groups,
but this will be a pain if it's not a website-based approach, because
I read newsgroups from more than one computer.
But as someone else pointed out, this is only one of a few
newsgroups I peruse regularly, and it seems to be the only
one (so far) afflicted by excessive spamming.
