Need Algorithm For Drawing Computer Setup

I am trying to lay out my computer setup in a CAD program. There are network
lines, phone lines, USB connections, and power cords ( some connect to a
surge protector and others to a UPS. I'd like to draw it without any lines
crossing others. Is there an algorithm that would show me where to place the
computers, peripherals, etc. on the drawing and the line positions?
