What is the world's best undergraduate maths course?
I've looked at the Times, Shanghai, and US News rankings, but wondered
how realistic these are. The Shanghai method seems good (unlike the
Leiden one, which is purely bibliometric!), but unfortunately they
don't give a ranking for mathematics; just for maths and natural
sciences.
Does anywhere rival Cambridge?
On the list are:
Cambridge
Harvard
MIT
Princeton
Univ of California - Berkeley
Stanford
Caltech
and outside of the US:
Cambridge (everyone seems to agree)
followed by:
Tokyo
Fed Inst Tech, Zurich
Michael
.
