Colin leslie dean a philosopher that upsets thePhysics has not resolved quantum gravity; therefore
status quo
he is the most controversial philosopher in
Australian and on the
net-perhaps the world as he upsets the status quo and
the standard views
of maths and science- just type in his name in google
and see how hated he
is
his many works demolish orthodox views in regard to
science and maths
http://gamahucherpress.yellowgum.com/gamahucher_press_
catalogue.htm
he has shown godels theorems are invalid
and
maths and science end in meaninglessness ie
contradiction
physics is meaningless. Hmmmm.
The gaping logical flaw in Dean's thinking is in the
assigning of value to philosophical statements about
mathematics and then assigning that value to mathematics
as a category, thus drawing a logical equivalence between
mathematics and philosophy where no such equivalence
exists. Analogously, a book review is not a book.
Neither is any subject the sum of its history. The
canon of scientific results is continually being
pruned of dead branches. The canon of mathematics
results is, like a coral reef, most alive in its
extremities.
Dean may succeed in his postmodern criticism, in
proving one irony--philosophy no longer has the slightest
relevance to science and mathematics.
