You may find that 'What is Mathematics' is written by Courant.
You may find that there is more than one book with the title 'What is
Mathematics'.
(seems like not only you flunked the high school math, your abilities
to reason are roughly on the kindergarten level).
I've just done five or six different Internet searches for "What is
Mathematics?" by Arnol'd (trying more than one spelling of his name)
but can't find any traces of it in English. For those who can read
Russian, there is:
V. I. Arnol'd, What is mathematics?, (MCCME, Moscow), 2002, Russian
So, when you wrote of Arnol'd, ``See his book "What is mathematics".'',
just what did you mean? I'm puzzled.
