What does that have to do with anything? A proof requires showing that
all possible examples have the stated property. Just giving one example
is not sufficient. However, giving a contrary example (a counterexample)
is enough to show that a claim is false, and any purported proof must be
flawed.
But I do now understand the problem with the proof thanks to the example. Thanks.
