Right on John!!
For most of your commentary anyway!
I would like to ask the liberals this one question --
If this country, when it was founded over 230
years ago, followed the path of --
socialism,communism,monarchy,dictatorship
or amy other system other than the democratic
capitalist free market system where would
this country be today?
I am sure it would have either failed or
if not failed would not be the supper power
it has become today.
There is no utopian system but capitalism
and the free markets with all its' faults
is the best system out there!
I agree with the 2 party system only for
checks and balances of governments control
over the people.
This administration is turning this country
into class warfare as we saw recently.
This only degrades the system that has made
this country so great.
All the liberals can do is come back with
how terrible Bush was and not have a good
rebuttal supporting their own causes.
Yes Bush made mistakes, mostly when he
went along with the liberal controlled
congress, but so did all other former
presidents make mistakes!
I wish the Dems. would stop trashing
this country when they visit overseas.
I never saw a conservative do it.
Why when I talk with immigrants that have made
it in this country say that it is the greatest
country in the world?
I fully agree with them that the opportunities
are endless for making a great life here in
America if each individual puts his/her mind
and ambition to succeed in any honest endeavor.
I was born in this country and still with all
its' faults, it's the only place on earth I want
to live.
Thanks again John for your great commentary.
Ok liberals, where is your great commentary!
I am waiting ...
If you are truly an American, praise America not
trash it!
God bless America.
I believe the majority of the problems with "capitalism" is because of the
pseudo capitalism we have now. Many liberals point to the problems we are
having now as those of capitalism but they are really the problems that came
about by mixing capitalism with socialism.
The biggest cause of our current crisis is because of what the democratic
party did in 1999. Specifically Barney Frank. It seems the liberals cannot
bring themselfs to criticize each other because in fact they are the
failures of capitalism(because they can't stand it and try to change it).
Capitalism works... it is based off of survival of the fittest/natural
selection(which mother nature has shown to work over millions of years).
Socialism works too... we just have to look at ants and bee's. The problem
is when you get the human element involved. Socialism simply will not work
with irrational, selfish, and ignorant people involved. (bee's and ant's
don't have brains)
IMO, Liberals are extremely short-sighted and tend to be extremely ignorant
when it comes to common sense. 9/11 did not happen because of Bush but
because what as happening during the time of Clinton. (this does not mean
that Bush did not hold some responsibility) Things to not happen immediately
but take time to develop. The problem is they tend to develop durring a
democratic president and reach there climax durring a republican president.
The liberals put the blame on the republican president because they refuse
to criticize their own. (the republicans have similar problem but are not
nearly as delusional)
It is also my belief that the fundamental structure of what America was
built on was ruined by immigration. I know I'll be called a racist and other
things by the liberals for saying that but this, of course, is because of
their ignorance. (I could be proven wrong with a suitable logical argument
if they could only create one) Unfortunately we have allowed so many people
with different beliefs, mainly those comming from communist and socialist
government, to become an integral part of our country. This people, now,
instead of wanting to be apart of america(as it was in the past), want to
change america. What has been happening in the last 40 or so years is not
because of true Americans but because of psuedo-Americans. Those people who
are not really Americans, who are not in the same spirit of our founding
fathers. They want to reap the greatness of Americans or destroy it.
(essentially "If I can't win the game I'll make sure you loose")
I am not going to say America is perfect, it is far from it. But relative to
any other country it is the best(at least for now). I do believe there were
a few fundamental flaws in the constitution that simply didn't take into
account the psychology of people. It should have tried to eliminate
corruption by government officials by having severe penalties IMO. Of
course I also know that the founding father believed that the government was
only as strong as it's people and there was little it could do to control
such issues.
Imigration served a point when America was getting started. It also gave us
many bright imigrants that did great things for the country but it gave us
many more that are just added weight. Similarly for slavery. Unfortunately
Slaves were very ignorant(not their fault) but we gave them equal rights
very quickly instead of making them equal. Again, instead of raising the
bar we lowered it(which is much easier to do but the wrong thing).
Liberals, IMO, cannot deal well in the abstract and this is another example.
i.e. "Oh, lets free the slaves! It's a great thing!" irregardless of the
consequences. Similarly "Lets go green! It's a great thing!", "Lets give
everyone free health care!", "Lets get rid of all the rich!", etc. These
are very short sighted goals without looking at the long term consequences.
They look good on the surface but, wether because of human ignorance or
innately, they are very bad. It's like choosing apples. You pick the best
looking but when you bite into it you don't get what you wanted.
I personaly believe that the democratic party has now become the
anti-American party. They want to destroy America and re-create it in an
image they think is best. Unfortunately about half of the so called
Americans agree with them(and how many of these are imigrants?). I believe
that it will happen because conservatives simply won't do anything about it.
Conservatives never seem to take this country back towards it's roots but
simply try to hold their ground. Liberals, on the other hand, always push
forward. Sometimes they make progress and other times they do not but
ultimately they move forward...
This is easy to see. Conservatives tend to be more happy than liberals.
Hence they don't have the desire to "stand up". Liberals, mostly being
immature, igorant, and unhappy, are willing to make a ruckus about things
without being checked by the conservatives(they are too busy enjoying their
life). Unfortunately liberals are not happy because of the void in their
heads. Many conservatives fill that void with religion and tend to lead a
happy life(no matter their income). What do these liberals have? They have
rallies, marches, anti-war protests, and sometimes more destructive things
like running for office on "change". This is not to say all liberals are bad
or everything implemented by liberals is bad but it seems that there are
just too many ignorant liberals that choose that "cause" because their life
sucks and they are tricked by the power mongeral democrates into believing
that they will be helped. (funny what has the democrates done for those
types of people? Their life has been much more improved by capitalism than
anything the democrates have done)
In fact, the democratic party depends on liberals being unhappy and ignorant
and hence will not change it no matter what they promise. It would be
sucide. Not everyone can be Kings. In fact the fewer the kings the more
powerful they are. Hence the reason why the democratic party wants to get
rid of capitalism. (they will be the few kings and will destory all the
other kings)
