Years ago I read about a 4-dimensional thing called a 24-cell. It sounded
very neat, that it had nice properties.
So I've been trying to find pictures/videos of it. But most are projections,
either into 2-d or semi 3-d (stereoscopic).

What I really want is the analog of the following:
To explain a 3-d sphere to a 2-d (flatland) person, you can move the sphere
through the flat plane. It starts off as a point, then becomes an expanding
circle, then it maxes out and shrinks back to a point and disappears. So:
are there any movie videos that do this with a 24-cell?  (I guess the movie
would have to be 3-d ish).

You will find, on the relvant Wikipedia page, an animation of
a cross-section of the 24-cell going through.
