Fourier *sine* and *cosine* integral



well,

while deriving sine and cosine transform from a Fourier
transform, we will assume that f(t) is odd function for
sine transform, so that eventually it will becomes zero.,

like wise for cosine we will assume that f(t) is even and
and will frame the required cosine transform;

but the point is..,

Is that concept of assuming f(t) as odd or even
for our *requirements* is a good option?

I mean, Are the end transforms correct in these sense ?
