Bill,
People with memory loss do not commonly recover. People with statin-caused
memory loss do, after years off the drug, recover. And, rechallenged by the
drug, again lose their memory.

There are multiple citations in peer-reviewed journals that attest to this.

And yes, by memory loss, we mean extreme short-term memory loss - cannot
remember what is in the coffee that is still hot in the cup. Loss of job.
