Wrong, wrong wrong. After 40-50 years of treatments, evaluation had
NOT been done. It was only when proper evaluation was done, as it could
have been 40 years ago, was it realized that self-selection, the oldest and
best-known bias in the world, was found to be the cause of the fake results.
Why was not the research done? Because all treatments profitable. Research
is not.
