Somewhere some time ago I read a brief note about alcohol and how it
may be related to race or genes. The article suggested that people who
have been in contact with alcohol for centuries like Italian's and
Spanish folks can use it much better than say American Indian's or
Northern Europeanıs.
The suggestion was folk's that can't handle it died off leaving folks
that could. China and some parts of Asia are similar to the
Mediterranean folk.
My wife who is Swedish is allergic to Alcohol and responded to one
drink in much the same manner that report Zee reported elsewhere.
