How would you like it if people opposed to statins - and I don't think there
are any with medical credentials - were called anti-statin whores? Your name
calling reflects a lack of thought, and worse, on your part.

And your point is? Two of the five are valid? What?

What about the real meta-analysis rather than the so-called ones? I think the
one you are referring to had one person associatiated with industry and two
that were not. What is your theory on this? They all got together and
conspired?

What about the recent study of diabetics where the authors recommended a
competing product (Lipitor) from the one that paid for the study (Zocor)? How
did that happen in your view?

Zee's view of the world: There can never be a study which show statins save
lives beacuse all such studies would be ghostwritten or written by pharma
whores. Therefore there is no evidence that statins save lives. Therefore
statins are bad and dangerous.

Zee, in truth, it is you who are dangerous. If people actually listen to you,
you could kill them. Really cause someone to die.

Which says

"Statins provide a cardiovascular and total mortality benefit for patients
with clinically evident occlusive vascular disease (secondary prevention) and
a cholesterol of >3.5 mM."

Note the "total mortality" part in the above reference. (YOUR reference)
