I always ask (out of habit..because I don't like taking meds) my doctors
whether I will be able to get off of any specific med. This cardiologist
said many people who take this have to stay on it. He didn't elaborate. So
I have to assume that he just meant it was usually perscribed to people who
simply had some sort of non-specific cause hypertension therefore it is the
only thing that keeps it down.....I just didn't want to assume that's what
he meant. Sound reasonable?
