In the VA system a doctor ordered scan or appointment with a
'specialist' usually takes 6 to 8 MONTHS.
Here's a quote from a VA letter canceling an upcoming appointment for
a cat scan that I had been waiting 6 months for:
June 02 2004
Dear Mr Vuotto
The following clinic appointment(s) were CANCLED
Friday June 28th 2004 .......
and rescheduled at
December 03 2004
We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
