Interesting article--and I recommend people read the whole thing.

As usual, the extremist right winger sees a problem in the system and
says "trash it" as it might help the poor or lower income.

By contrast, I see that the Canadian system has problems--of COURSE it
does. At least here, they are addressing the issue of how Inuit are
treated versus other indigenous peoples--who in general got a better
shake than the all out genocide and treaty breaking that mars US
history.

But once again, the story, while interesting, does not speak against
the need for a single payer healthcare system in the United States.
